About CloverBonus
CloverBonus is an independent guide to casino bonuses and free spins for players in Ireland. We publish the welcome offer each casino actually advertises to an Irish visitor — the amount, the cap, the free spins — and explain how to price the terms behind it before you claim.
Why this site exists
Search for a casino bonus in Ireland and most of what comes back is a headline figure with nothing behind it. The number is often copied from an operator's global homepage rather than the Irish-facing one, the wagering multiple is buried or absent, and the maximum cashout — the single term most likely to decide whether a bonus can pay you anything — is frequently not mentioned at all.
That gap is the reason for this site. A bonus is a contract with a price attached, and the price is in the terms rather than the headline. We would rather publish four offers with their terms fully priced than forty with none.
The editorial team
CloverBonus is written and checked by a small editorial team with experience across online gambling, payments and consumer publishing. We publish under the site's name rather than invented personal bylines, because the checks behind a page are a process rather than one person's opinion, and a fabricated author photograph tells you nothing about whether a figure was verified.
What we will tell you is exactly how each figure was obtained. That is set out step by step on our methodology page, including what we do when a casino shows us nothing.
How the site makes money
We earn affiliate commission when a reader opens an account through one of our links, at no cost to the reader. That funding is what pays for the research, and it is disclosed in the footer of every page.
It does not buy a position. Commission rates differ between operators and if we ordered the list by what it pays, the order would be different from the one published. We do not sell ranking positions, we do not accept payment for favourable wording, and a casino that fails one of our disqualifying checks is removed regardless of its commercial terms. The full list of those commitments is on the methodology page.
What we cover, and what we do not
We cover casino bonuses offered to players in Ireland: welcome packages, no-deposit offers, free spins and the terms attached to each. Our guides explain wagering, game weighting, win caps and expiry windows, because those are what turn a headline into a real number.
What we do not do is publish figures we have not seen. We do not restate an operator's claim as though we had checked it, we do not quote payout times we have not measured, and we do not publish user ratings — unverified rating widgets are trivially gameable and say more about who had an incentive to fill them in than about the casino. Where a casino could not be opened from Ireland, it carries no offer and no write-up rather than a placeholder.
Corrections and contact
If a figure on this site does not match what you were shown, or an offer has changed since we captured it, tell us and we will re-check it. The same applies if a casino here has refused or stalled a legitimate withdrawal — a consistent pattern of reader reports is one of the triggers that sends us back to an operator, and a withheld payout removes a casino from the site outright.
Write to [email protected]. We read everything, and corrections are made on the page rather than quietly.
Our position on gambling
Gambling is entertainment with a cost, not a way to make money. Every game described on this site is built so that the operator wins over time, and no bonus changes that arithmetic — a welcome offer lengthens the time you can play, it does not tilt the maths in your favour.
Nothing here is aimed at anyone under 18, and nothing here is advice to gamble. If it has stopped being fun, free and confidential support is available in Ireland from the Gambling Care helpline on 1800 936 725 (freephone). Our responsible gambling page sets out the deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools worth knowing about before you need them.
